Hi guys been messing around with an airbrush for a wee while . would love to get into
custom painting bikes ect but would have to go on one of them airbrush courses to
learn the secrets ..but they aint cheap a couple of the things a made with clay and
then airbrushed them.

I would love to able to do stuff like they do on OCC, or these customer car programmes

Thanks for that guys yeah i think i would be good at those custom mouldings for
bikes an stuff . and to be honest ive looked at some bikes that have been airbrushed
and thought i could do that...

It's mostly about the tools and facilities. OCC never paint their own bikes, and they used to have all their frames built to thier spec, so in reality, you could do what they do, as long as you can weld. One of the programs, they just went to a massive parts store and just picked everything, and I mean everything off the shelf!
Got a lot of respect for their finished articles, but with time and patience, you could do it.

Otto, if I were you, I would be bidding on ebay for old panels, particularly crashed and scuffed stuff, and just go right to it. The only real way to learn is to buy the right stuff and practice. 90% of paint is in prepping it right, and have a clean area to paint. Seal a tent up and hoover it out, then use that.
